This is a Full-Time Position:
We are in search of a motivated and highly-organized self-starter for our growing corporate video production firm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for details and schedules, but also have an interest in documentary and short-form non-fiction content.
This is an ideal position for someone with at least 2 years' experience across both production and post-production, ready to grow and leverage that experience by joining an established, dynamic, small but passionate production team that produces award-winning, quality-driven, non-fiction content for Fortune 500 and agency clients. Our environment is dynamic where things change day to day, even hour to hour, but that keeps life interesting and challenging. Hopefully you thrive on that, too. Our office is located in a beautiful, low-key setting where there is an informal vibe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Coordinator is at the center of our production and post-production team, and also functions as a liaison between our clients and staff. This role oversees the scheduling and logistics for our project workflow from concept through completion. There may be, at times, 10 to 15 active projects at any time. The candidate must be highly-organized, personable, flexible, and a perfectionist when it comes to the details. We have an existing process we'll train you in, but we're always open to good ideas that can make it better.
DUTIES
• Project management and resource management for all stages of production, from pre-production to post-production and final delivery.
• Day to day scheduling of edit bay team and freelancers.

• Scheduling and tracking progress of all projects, ensuring deliverables are executed on time and within budgeted labor hours
• Planning and organizing pre-production for all shoots, preparing shoot schedules, travel arrangements, call sheets, etc. and handling pre-shoot communication
• Sourcing and scheduling freelance resources, including location crews and post-production professionals
• Coordinating daily post production and production tasks based on project schedules
• Problem-solving on emergent production and post-production challenges and obstacles
• Assisting in logistics and location research and information gathering
• Coordinating handoff of projects from production to post-production
• Handling various details and miscellaneous tasks as required
• Some post-producing of smaller projects
• Use project management software including Excel, SmartSheet, Asana and TimeFox to manage planning, scheduling, and logistics.
• Requires use of Word, Office 365.
REQUIREMENTS

• 2-4 years of relevant industry experience (ideally including scheduling and project management experience)
• Demonstrated organizational skills (samples requested)
• Demonstrated interest or experience in non-fiction content

• Experience in at least two phases of production: pre-production, production and/or post-production
• Experience with low-budget production / small crews of 3-5
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent business communication skills
• Excellent writing skills (samples requested)
• Experience with project management software (Asana and Smartsheet preferred)
EMPLOYMENT
