NYC based post-production facility is looking for an experienced, motivated individual for a key role in our post-production department. Successful candidates will be proactive, quick-thinking, flexible multi-taskers, with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times.
This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and an effective communicator that is able to exercise good judgment and initiative. Must have corporate video and team management experience!
Please note that this is currently a hybrid work position with both remote and in office days required. Candidate must live within the NY tristate area and be able to easily commute to downtown Manhattan office as needed. Candidates must have a reliable high speed internet connection.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Schedule and manage in-house resources and freelancers (Assign daily tasks to post team, oversee progress, maintain master schedule & communication with management team).
• Conducting technical reviews of all edits for branding consistency, glitches, render errors, overall video/audio quality, etc. Extreme attention to detail required.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years as a Post-Production Coordinator, or similar title involving team/schedule management working on corporate videos, virtual events, tv shows, commercials.
• Attention to detail required for video proofing, Final QC as needed.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery).
• Clear understanding of how to prioritize.
• Willingness to continue learning and motivation to grow professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Mail.
• Working knowledge of editing/animation programs such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
• Mac User.
Office hours are Monday - Friday , 10am - 7pm ET.
