A theater/film/tv/music production team is looking for someone with friendly energy to run errands and help with various tasks, in an entry-level/PA type position. If you're a more seasoned and experienced candidate, that might work too. You must have a college degree and have references from previous employers. If you speak a little Spanish or French, that may be helpful at times. You must have a car and live no more than 30 min from UCLA.
The job is primarily a personal assistance job; running errands, making calls, walking dogs, some gardening, maybe some cooking, some cleaning and re-organizing, manage logistics, some event planning, admin assistance and occasionally assistance with research or on production jobs. Multitasking, attention to detail, a friendly demeanor a must.
You must be pleasant to be around and not bring drama into a workplace. You must have previous work experience in a similar job and already understand how to be part of a harmonious work space. You must be a dog person and, if not love, at least be able to tolerate a cat. You must not be homophobic or racist or anything like that. If all the above sounds like a match, send us a short email explaining what you're doing with your life, and telling us about your work history. Short like a few paragraphs. And answer the following questions for us: what are your 2 favorite movies and what are your 2 favorite musicals, and why. It doesn't matter to us which movies or musicals you choose, we just want to hear your reasoning and get to know you a little, and judge your grammar and spelling. If you can't follow these instructions properly, at this very early stage of our relationship, then forget it, this isn't the right job for you. But if you're the match, good things await you here.
Pay is about what you'd expect, maybe more. Tell us what you'd like to be paid, and when you can start. There will be a 1 month trial period to see if you and our team are a good fit.
