Personal/Administrative Assistant Wanted
A small film production company located in Woodland Hills is looking for a personal/admin assistant.
Hours: Mon - Fri 9:30am - 5:30pm - In person
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience
Benefits: 1 week paid vacation/5 sick days per year (Days start to accrue after first 90 days)
We are looking for a candidate with a positive ''can do, will do'' attitude. Must be willing to do office as well as personal tasks. One plus years working as a personal/admin assistant is preferred. We are looking for someone that would be content to be in this position long-term.
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Self-starter
- Can manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize
- Must have exceptional logistics skills, including an overall awareness of everything going on in the company and the ability to think pro-actively and anticipate needs for anything that could come up
- Makes sure everyone's needs in the office are taken care of
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to type and compose a letter while someone is dictating
- Good internet research skills
- Must have a car and valid driver's license for running errands
- Must like dogs will need to walk and feed on occasion
- Ability to troubleshoot technology as needed
- Background in film production is preferred
Duties:
- Answer phones and take clear, concise messages, pick up voicemails
- Set and track business and personal appointments/meetings for the CEO
- Coordinate repair/maintenance appointments for office and CEO's home
- Book business and personal travel for the CEO
- Assist in managing the CEO's personal library of films, familiarizing yourself with current agreements and upcoming expirations
- Get, open, and distribute mail
- Keep office supplies stocked - kitchens, offices, bathrooms, office equipment, etc., ordering as needed
- Organize and file office paperwork
- Assist bookkeeper when needed
- Run errands, both business and personal
- Assist in planning screenings and various events
- Organize yearly holiday gift purchases and giving
- Occasional script coverage
