We are a small performing arts school with a physical location in Los Angeles, California, but our doors have been closed since CoVid-19 quarantine. However, we took some time to rebrand our school and began offering our classes virtually. We are growing and as such we are seeking a few part time performance coaches and assistants who have experience in one or more of the following areas (either as a performer or previous arts teacher/assistant):
1) Acting for screen (TV/film/web)
2) Commercials and/or voice over
3) Theatre (long or short form)
4) Acting Techniques (classical, method, etc.)
5) Improv (short or long form, sketch or stand-up, etc.)
6) Open Mic/Stage (music, poetry or stand-up, etc.)
7) Writing (screenplay, teleplay, stage play, or manuscript)
8) Public and/or Motivational Speaking
9) Podcasting (talk and/or fictional/immersive)
We are also open to pitches for performance classes not listed above. Please note: most of our classes are designed for adults (17 and older). For potential coaches who have the patience and temperament to handle a virtual class of 10 to 15 ''KIDS'' under 16 years of age, please let us know.
We ask that all coaches be computer/internet and smartphone savvy as well as have the ability to effectively participate/coach in virtual conferences/classes through platforms such as zoom, webex, microsoft teams, etc.
Note: this is a part-time remote position. Due to on-going coronavirus protocols, all of our classes/events will continue to be taught ''safe in place'' for the time being. To qualify for this position you do not have to be a former teacher or performer but you MUST have a passion for the arts and are willing to train to become one of our coaches.
