SLATE PR, an independently-owned entertainment public relations firm specializing in talent publicity and events, is currently accepting resumes for an office manager. We are seeking a highly-driven and enthusiastic candidate who has exceptional communication and writing skills, is detail-oriented and resourceful, has the ability to multi-task, and the capacity to think on their feet in a fast-paced environment.
This position would be an amazing fit for a self-starter interested in a career in publicity.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinating schedules for the office
• Answering the main line
• Updating and maintaining industry contacts
• Updating and maintaining client lists
• Managing business finances
• Managing office inventory
• Updating and maintaining a comprehensive list of events for all clients
Basic Qualifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and work matters
• Must be organized and pay attention to detail
• Basic industry knowledge including executives, media, and talent
• Must be a team player and willing to take on any task as needed
• Professional etiquette and work attire
• Bachelor's Degree
