Motion graphics artist needed to create opening title sequence and design elements for a true crime documentary series on a major cable network.
Final designs to be delivered as an After Effects files ''toolkit'' that will allow our team to create customized iterations of lower thirds/maps/identifiers, etc. You won't be required to do all the ''nuts and bolts'' renders, simply deliver templates.
The key piece here is the 10 second show open, which will play before every episode.
Additionally, goal is to re-use design elements from the show open to inspire/create designs for:
1. Title design that can carry though full screen titles, lower thirds, location IDs, subtitles, etc.
2. A stylistic map graphic with reusable elements we can customize on our end.
3. A ''hierarchy'' graphic that will allow us to tie together locations, subjects, and groups of people.
4. A ''timeline'' graphic to highlight important dates related to the crimes and investigations.
This style is elevated, classy, and cinematic. Should not feel ''gimmicky'' or ''reality TV'' - rather, high-end documentary.
