Hey, I need help, specifically YOUR help (I may need other help too but hopefully meditation and yoga will help). I work in the corporate marketing department of a national learning center with a bunch of franchise locations throughout the country.
Where you fit in: You're a smart, reliable marketing genius (or genius in development?). You've run a company's social media platform, created and scheduled content, analyzed metrics, all that fun stuff.
You also have a good eye for design and have some intermediate level Photoshop and Illustrator skills. Maybe you're an expert at Canva too?
You know what type of ad copy gets people to click! Or at least experience some emotion. (''Upvote this to save a kitten!'')
You can talk on the phone with a client if necessary. You're not allergic to peanuts (we love to keep some PB in the office).
Proofreading question to see if you're reading or applying through mobile. What did you order for lunch today (or yesterday)? I swear I'm not crowdsourcing ideas for lunch, or am I?
You love kids (or can pretend that you do?).
You may be asking yourself: Is experience in education necessary? NO, but it helps. Unfortunately, attending school doesn't count.
As you may have noticed, we like to kid around a bit (if this is too dull, I might've toned it down because it requires approval from above) but we also work hard!
You can dress up somewhat business casual or better (suit and tie isn't necessary everyday but if you don't wear it to the interview, maybe you were applying to White Castle. Mmm, I might get some sliders this weekend. Anyways..)
This is a part-time role with potential for full-time. You'd be working about 25-30 hours a week (1/2 hour for lunch). If you have any other part-time gigs, this may or may not work depending on your schedule. You'd be working in our office about 10am-4pm.
Is any of this interesting? Feel free to shoot us a note. PLEASE include links to any accounts that you're running or have worked with. If you have experience with Facebook Ads or Google Adwords too, please mention that. If your graphic design skills are subpar though, you better be an excellent copywriter or super analytical (when it comes to social media and website traffic, not about baseball because I'm not a huge fan of sabermetrics).
If your name is Bart, you're hired.
