JOB TITLE: LINE PRODUCER FOR CLIP SHOW
DESCRIPTION:
Handles PROJECT MANAGEMENT associated with the business aspects of the physical production of a Clip Show project, including but not limited to, preparation and management of crew salaries, equipment rentals, development costs, locations, set design and construction, insurance, etc. Additionally producing provisional ad hoc budgets to estimate the specific and overall costs, as requested by the company. Gig will be for approximately 15 weeks and $3000.00/week rate.
PRE-PRODUCTION:
Works closely with the Director, Producers, Department Heads, and Production Managers to build out and oversee all pre-production activities, including hiring the production team, setting up the production office, location scouting, ensuring compliance with regulations, sourcing equipment and suppliers, selecting crew, and monitoring the progress of the departments.
PRODUCTION:
Provides oversight of the final budget along with the production accountant. Delegates the day- to-day operation of the production office to the production manager/production coordinator; which includes setting up and implementing financial monitoring systems, controlling production expenditure, controlling production materials, and monitoring and controlling the progress of productions; responsible for certain health and safety procedures, and for sorting out any insurance claims; oversees the 'wrap' or 'winding down', of the production; carries out risk assessments according to regulatory requirements and provides action plans for best practice risk averse approach. Manages clearance needs, which include release forms for appearance, materials and locations, and storing of the same.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Substantial senior level experience within the Project Management and/or Film & TV Industry
• MUST have experience with CLIP SHOWS! All else need not apply.
• Working laptop with Movie Magic Budgeting Microsoft Office Suite/Word & Excel
• Working smart phone with GPS, email and text function
• US Citizen or the right to work in the US per VISA or resident status
