Line Producer
Looking for an experienced Line Producer to join the production team for an Live Broadcast Event. The position will begin immediately and last for about 3 months with the possibility of returning for another event in the fall. The perfect candidate will have experience with both TV Production and Live Events, and knows what it takes to succeed in an environment that is a mixture of both. We are seeking someone with multiple credits and experience with budgeting and scheduling. This position will prep in Beverly Hills but requires travel to Las Vegas for the event. All travel and meals will be provided.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Production Team to ensure Live Event and Content production runs smoothly, staying on schedule and on budget.
· Manage production and post production personnel in the field.
· Work with in-house Line Producer/Account Manager, forecast and track all budgets on active projects, and produce weekly reports showing multiple project performance trends.
· Hire additional vendors or crew, as needed, and manage contracts, petty cash and payments.
· Create budgets, schedules and cost reports for multiple events and productions.
· Handle multiple productions at once, scheduling yourself and others in an efficient and effective manner.
· Union and Non Union Experience Required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Must have a deep proficiency in production (film, online video, live event broadcast) and post production.
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in production and/or live events.
· Must have extensive experience with Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling software.
· Strong understanding of production insurance, labor law, clearances, talent, union rules, payroll, purchase orders and working with vendors.
· Travel to Las Vegas is required.
· Must be highly organized, self-motivated and comfortable managing our constantly shifting flow of projects, budgets, schedules and staff.
· Gear and tech savvy.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Live Event Production a plus.
· Must have legal right to work in the US.
· Competitive rate to be discussed at interview.
· A great attitude is a must.
