JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Provide administrative support for the partners of the Firm, as well as occasional high-level legal assistance for attorneys across various types of production legal and entertainment agreements. As a representative of your executives and the Firm, your professionalism, loyalty and attitude reflect the office, and as such, are a critical component of its success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle general administrative duties for the managing partner, and other attorneys, as needed - for example: schedule calls and meetings, file emails, maintain files electronically and in hard copy format, daily schedules and calendars, and facilitate e-mail distributions.
• Handle expenses and travel for the managing partner, if required.
• Compare and proofread agreements and related materials.
• Prepare legal correspondence at direction of attorneys.
• Track and prepare reports relating to the status of agreements and agreement terms.
• And to perform such other duties identified, assigned, and/or designated by managers and supervisors of the Firm.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Bachelor's Degree education or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of significant experience working in an entertainment law firm, in-house legal environment, or similar function.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate needs and communicate clearly.
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment against deadlines, and can execute efficiently against multiple, diverse, high-priority, and high-volume projects.
• Must possess good legal judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of confidentiality and handle sensitive materials properly.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office 365 (including Teams), Adobe software, Google sheets and docs, DocuSign, database software, and Internet research skills.
• Ability to identify and analyze complex issues and devise solutions and strategies with minimal supervision.
• Must be detail oriented, with strong proofreading skills.
