Job Description :
Seeking Lookbook / Treatment Designer for busy, exciting Commercial Production company located in Hollywood to work with, in collaboration with a cross-functional team of Directors, Executive Producers, Head of Production, Writers & Production Managers, to ensure the quality of our Presentations are uniquely & aesthetically in sync with our film pitches. If you have the ability to convey storytelling through visuals, be it illustrations, graphics, photographs, film clips and any and all unique visual forms, we'd very much like to meet you. Ultimately, you will design aesthetically-pleasing Presentations that capture our brand and, in the end, engage our clients.
Responsibilities
• Work in tandem with Directors, EP's, etc., to include researching visuals & designing the final layout of images for above mentioned Presentations
• Combine various colors, shapes and typography, fonts, photos, film clips to enhance viewer experience
• Use visual design software to refine all Visuals
• Thru either InDesign, Pages, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop apply various techniques, like gradients and contrasts to enhance digital images
• Present rough drafts to Directors & EP's throughout the process
• Brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics
• Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments
• Treatment work include researching all visuals and designing the final layout of images and text
• Light editing (in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro)
Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Visual Designer, Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, graphics, Treatments, Layouts)
• Hands-on experience with image editing software, like InDesign, Pages, Keynote and/or Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to communicate well and quickly with team members
• Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects
• Attention to visual details
• BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant qualification(s) a plus
More fun :
• Maintain a proprietary database of recent and completed film work, communicating with post vendors to gather all source materials and deliverables.
• Maintain inventory of final drives & media from jobs & projects.
• Maintain internet & company server, including relationships with outside vendors that service both
• Maintain Company website and in-house e mail accounts, updating both as needed
• Communicating with various database vendors to upload and update past and current Company work including all film credits, crew & staff.
• Troubleshoot everyday issues concerning internet, server and staff computers.
• Upon occasion work with directors on finalizing director edits / cuts.
