Essential Functions:
• Maintain financial records, scan and prepare for offsite storage.
• Prepare and process invoices, vendor applications, client advances and loans.
• Process interdepartmental transfer requests and prepare nightly commission statements.
• Void checks and stop pays, process commission reimbursements and batch adjustments.
• Update weekly forecast with commission revenue.
• Add manual payroll checks to positive pay.
• Reconcile corporate P-Cards, maintain receipts and submit timely to AP for processing.
• Procure disbursement requests, and process wires and ACHs in a timely manner.
• Provide backup as necessary for daily cash report, investment sweep report, outstanding check log, categorized check register, payroll funding, client exchange summary, and blue sheets.
• Provide backup as necessary for expense report processing and releasing AP checks.
• Coordinate and prepare pertinent information for external accounting firms and auditors.
• Send out 3rd party statements and log audit fees.
• Assist finance and accounting department, including CFO with ad hoc projects.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Light phone answering and calendaring.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Axapta and Excel a plus.
• Familiarity with online banking platforms a plus.
• Entertainment/Media/Agency experience is preferred.
• Problem solving, analytical, time management and follow-up skills are required.
• Must be proactive with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential; ability to interact with executive level management required.
