Web Design Intern
We are looking for web design interns to create clean, creative, and responsive websites for our artists. Applicants should have an understanding of key UI/UX concepts so their designs can aid our artists in meeting and exceeding their business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Design and program websites for current and perspective artists.
• Create wireframes and mockups.
• Develop website layouts, program and code the website from start to finish.
• Translate high-level requirements into forward thinking, functional designs.
Requirements:
• Candidate should be a team player who is self-motivated, a great communicator, creative thinker, and able to work independently, prioritize, and bring new ideas to the table.
• Preferably enrolled in a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript.
• Knowledge of Wordpress, Square Space, and Wix also a plus.
• Previous design experience and be able to submit freelance and/or other design work.
• Experience with designs optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Be able to design and deliver wireframes and mockups.
