New and rapidly growing talent agency located in midtown Manhattan is seeking a PART-TIME, UNPAID spring semester intern for our AGENT TRAINING PROGRAM. We are a full-service agency representing professional actors and models, ages 18+, for on-camera, print, voice over and live/theater projects.
This position REQUIRES AT LEAST 2-3 DAYS/WEEK in the office. The right candidate is interested in pursuing a full-time career in talent management and/or casting, and feels at home in a boutique office environment. You are a natural organizer who thrives on creating order from chaos, with a temperament that's balanced between outgoing and relaxed. You're a stickler for details, enjoy tasks that are both professional and creative, and are most content when you're extremely busy and able to get a lot accomplished.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (completed or currently in progress)
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
A strong communicator, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a busy environment
A self-starter who can work independently
Solution-oriented
Friendly and able to work well with all types of personalities
Ability to provide your own laptop is a plus! (not required)
Responsibilities:
Assist with conducting talent meetings
Talent portfolio critique
Assist with on-boarding new talent and data entry
Assist with submitting talent for auditions
Assist with scheduling/tracking auditions
Industry research
Other administrative duties including heavy phones, email correspondence, scheduling appointments, greeting office visitors, etc.
