Are you in school looking to learn and get hands-on experience in the entertainment/music industry? Are you still in undergrad? a recent college grad and looking for a post-graduate internship? We are looking for you!
We are a boutique artist management company located in New York & Los Angeles that represent a variety of musical talent. We are seeking intuitive, detail-oriented, self-starters who are resourceful and can think on their feet. We are currently interviewing for our Los Angeles Office for 2019 year. We have 2-3 positions available.
Applicants should be looking to gain experience in the music industry and will work directly with our management teams and associates. Previous music or entertainment experience or internships are preferred. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a unique company and work with a diverse staff. Our current client roster consists of R&B, Pop, Rock, Adult AC, Hip Hop, & Jazz artists.
DESCRIPTION: A four to eight month internship, depending on school credit/semester requirements. Additional Details: Must have reliable transportation. There is also a blue line metro stop across the street. We are offering valuable hands on experience, education, & college credit (dependent on your university). Interns will learn directly from management staff & office.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: Must be internet, social media, and Microsoft office savvy. Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail. Must have strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking abilities, and a team-player attitude. Music industry background preferred, but NOT required (1-3 yrs). Must be very knowledgeable with social media platforms such as (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. College credit is preferred but not mandatory.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and proof of car insurance. Office is also public transportation accessible. Must be able to intern at least two days a week, for a 4-6 hour period between 8:00AM-7:00PM. Knowledge of spreadsheets Research skills.
KEY EXPERIENCES (includes but not limited to):
Must Love Music! Assist staff with promoting various projects/artists through social media. General office duties: Errands, copies, expense reports, schedules, emails and office personnel. Assist with the office tasks encompassed in artist relations in the office as well as events when needed.
Students/Interns will get an opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field and the office. Lunch is provided for during lunch hours. This is an unpaid internship.
