We are looking to fill an open position in the Grip and Electric departments of an independent feature film to be shot in Brooklyn, New York over the next three weeks. Our first day of shooting is this Saturday November 10th.
We have an award winning filmmaker and an Emmy & Tony nominated lead actor.
This is an unpaid position, but interns will gain valuable experience while contributing to our team. Applicants should be interested in learning about working in the lighting department on a feature film. You will work hand in hand with the DP, Gaffer and Grip.
This is a small crew and we all work together closely. Being part of our team you will have the chance to observe and learn and be part of a great group of people.
This is a 15 day shoot. We are slated for Nov 10 - Wed Nov 28. Thursdays and Fridays off.
As this is an unpaid position we will be flexible and work with your schedule. Enthusiasm and a desire to learn and assist where needed is more prized than experience.
