Independent film & television production company with an overall deal at a major studio seeking an intern for Fall 2019. Duties include reading scripts and writing coverage, creating talent lists, and problem solving as needed. Administrative tasks include answering phones, scheduling meetings, and running errands. Company produces a variety of material, including drama, docs, children's/YA, and series.
Candidate should be able to multi-task, be comfortable interfacing with talent, and have a professional appearance. Previous internship experience in a fast paced, high volume environment (i.e. an agency, studio, or management company) is preferred.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with an award-winning producer with an overall deal at major studio. By the end of the semester, interns will have a greater understanding of the day-to-day functions of a busy independent production company.
This internship is unpaid, and candidates must be registered for school credit. Applicants should be available a minimum of 2 days per week.
