Looking for a leg up entering the entertainment industry? Come get a crash course in how industry-leading production companies develop, package and create the magic of movies. You will work closely and personally with the company CEO, an award-winning producer who spent a decade collaborating with producer Robert Evans (The Godfather, Chinatown) before turning toward development of her own, proprietary material.
We are looking for an intern/assistant to work one to two days per week on Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday, and to start as soon as possible.
Hours generally are from no earlier than 10am to no later than 8pm, 11:00am-7:00pm on the average day.
Opportunity for Paid Employment: We are looking first and foremost to hire from within our intern pool following the start of production on our next film (Pre-Production Scheduled to Begin in June). If you are willing to work hard and prove yourself a valuable member of the team, you will have a paid job working on the film.
Experience Not Necessary: Strong work ethic valued as highly as any relevant employment experience
Ideal Candidate:
- Is organized, focused and reliable
- Enjoys working with people
- Wants to learn rapidly about the industry
- Is available all day Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday
- Lives within reach of West Hollywood
- Has access to a motor vehicle (*not necessary, but helpful!)
- **Is OK working around friendly dogs (we employ 5 dogs for their artistic perspectives and overall cuteness)
Responsibilities Include:
- Reading and providing written coverage of spec script submissions
- Managing CEO appointments, scheduling, calendar
- Communicating with clients and collaborators
- Drafting necessary production documentation
- Reception Services: Greeting clients, answering phone calls, etc.
- Maintaining reception area
