LA based Post Production Company is seeking and In-House Post Production Supervisor to join our team. Working in collaboration with creative production teams and various internal departments, the In-House Post Supervisor will oversee the technical production of assets through the entire post production process to maintain technical consistency and accuracy, and the fidelity of all content for each phase of production. This role requires a deep understanding of editorial, VFX, audio, color, DRS, QC, and mastering post-production processes.
This role requires an expert understanding of cinematic content creation. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record and ability to apply industry-standard post-production processes within the walls of a fast-moving creative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Editorial, VFX, Audio, Color, DRS, QC, and third-party vendors to assure that all content meets specifications and that any information and assets required have been turned over to those who need them.
• Track the progress of all post-production tasks through final QC and delivery.
• Assist in establishing and documenting workflows, creative standards, and processes as well as technical guidelines for the post-production team.
• Maintain clear daily communications and status of the production process.
• Work with production to define post schedules and identify resource needs and balancing.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years of experience working in post-production.
• Served as a Post-Production Supervisor on high-end film or TV productions.
• Proven track record managing multiple fast-paced projects in a large organization.
• Deep knowledge of post-production processes including ingest, cataloging/archiving, editing, visual effects, motion graphics, audio, color, DRS and QC.
• Expertise in managing Post-Production process from scanning through the final stages for finishing / delivery.
• Experience managing third party vendors to assure seamless handover of required assets and integration of externally and internally created content.
• Familiarization with current trends and workflows across the industry for multi-camera array and high-resolution capture, HDR, VFX, motion graphics, and spatial audio.
• Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Experience with shared storage and asset management workflows.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under high pressure with tight deadlines while maintaining team cohesion.
• Developing ability to interact with Clients, Producers, Directors, EPs.
• A sense of urgency balanced with the ability to prioritize and remain calm.
• The role requires a self-directed ''production-minded'' work ethic helping to maintain the high level of quality associated the company.
