HR Administrator

We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department. The HR Administrator supports the HR Director.
HR Administrator responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies and assisting in the hiring process. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions.
Ultimately, you will make sure all HR operations run smoothly.
This candidate should thrive in a high speed, fast paced environment and be comfortable working collaboratively with a team. This position requires an independent thinker who is friendly and enthusiastic.
Responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding new hires
- Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and offers and PTO requests
- Update internal databases with new hire information
- Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
- Publish and remove job ads
- Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
- Respond to employees' questions about benefits (for example, number of vacation days they're eligible for)
- Answering employee questions
- Processing incoming mail
- Creating and distributing documents
- Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
- Setting appointments and arranging meetings
- Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
- AdHoc, assisting with other departmental projects
Requirements:
- 1-year work experience within Human Resources or similar role
- Bachelor's (required)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Excellent time management
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation
- Experience using spreadsheets
- Organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Tech savvy/Social Media experience
