Boutique Transactional Entertainment Law Firm seeks an Executive Legal Assistant. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 prior years of experience working as a legal assistant at an entertainment law firm or in house business affairs department at a talent agency. An understanding of legal document management and workflow for film and television deals is paramount (e.g., tracking contracts, signatures and payments). Strong organizational skills a must, along with the ability to multi-task, anticipate needs and remain calm in high-pressure situations. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail. Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality. Take ownership of projects, following through from start to finish. Capable of prioritizing time-sensitive projects in a professional and polite manner. Responsibilities also include heavy phones and client interaction, scheduling, electronic filing and other typical assistant-related tasks. .Law degree and California Bar certification preferred.
