PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE IS 40 HOURS PER WEEK BUT CLASSIFIED AS A CONTRACTOR ROLE AS A CLIENT PAYS 20 HOURS PER WEEK AND WE PAY 20 HOURS PER WEEK

You Are:
• Dedicated, ambitious, and possess a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experienced working in a high pressure, high volume, deadline driven environment
• Independent, detail oriented, and hyper-organized
• A clear, concise communicator with exceptional writing and speaking skills
• Passionate about the business side of broadcasting and media, with a strong desire to grow into an entertainment executive
Key Responsibilities:
• Administration/Coordination:
o Overall calendar management for Managing Director
- Creation of supporting materials as needed (eg outlines, deck drafts, agendas, summary reports, available material catalogues etc)
o Plan, draft and coordinate schedules for Managing Director's business travel, including but not limited to: flights, lodging, vehicles, business appointments, and special industry events, as directed
- On-call support for duration of conferences/tours
o Draft correspondence, track meeting progress, chase materials, tapings, and screeners as needed for follow-up
o General administrative tasks such as filing, client gifting, office management, expense reporting, IT troubleshooting, and/or liaising with IT help desk
• Tracking/Research:
o Maintain/update rolling log of producer meetings/call
o Track and maintain database of all formats & pitches sent for review
o Rights tracking for existing formats & catalogue content as needed
o Generate tracking grids, producer lists, write notes and business briefs as directed
• Other:
o Write daily reports on ratings, key business/industry developments, and relay formats available for development or acquisition
o Generate custom reports as directed and with the support of the Managing Director
o Executing personal and/or other related tasks as required
o Provide overflow administrative support as needed for international clients when they are in the US
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferably in film, television, advertising, marketing, or business administration
• Minimum 2-3 years of work-related experience in a high volume, fast paced environment, such as an agency, network or production company
• Must possess exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, marked by a proclivity toward teamwork, a high level of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, and poise
• Must possess demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision, able to think quickly and critically, exercise sound judgement, and follow through on tasks in a timely manner.
• Must have meticulous attention to detail in daily work habits and a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks with competing deadlines and priorities.
• High proficiency with the Mac operating system and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be available to work overtime on nights and weekends as needed (hours are often adjusted to service international clients in different time zones)
• Familiarity with key players in the unscripted market, including executives, producers, and talent
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience supporting a C-level executive
• Resourceful, self-driven, and calm under pressure
• Knowledge and passion for domestic & international TV business news
• An encyclopedic knowledge of alternative formats, unscripted television, live programming, and/or sports is a huge plus
- Additional Information:
• This position primarily works remotely. Candidate must have own phone, laptop, and internet access
• An upbeat personality, good sense of humor, flexible thinking, and a strong desire to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment is necessary to be successful in this position
• Minimum of 20 hours per week, but will vary according to Managing Director's workload
