A premium non-fiction entertainment company is looking for a motivated Executive Assistant to join the Los Angeles team. Based in Los Angeles, the company develops and produces timely, character-driven content for premium networks, streaming services and platforms.
The Executive Assistant will directly support the President/CEO as well as provide general administrative assistance to the larger team. An ideal candidate will have experience supporting a busy, high-level executive and a working knowledge of the film and television industry. They will be an enthusiastic self-starter who can work both independently and as a part of a small team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about premium non-fiction content and wants to learn and grow in the position.
Applicants must be based in Los Angeles and able to work full time. Work is hybrid in-office and work-from-home. We are looking for someone who can ultimately grow beyond the EA role and become part of our production and development teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day schedule & calendar for the President/CEO including scheduling & setting up calls, zooms, and in-person meetings
- Manage the company Google Drive and keep all files, folders, calendars and spreadsheets organized and up to date
- Track expenses
- Coordinate and book travel as needed
- Review creative materials and write coverage and feedback for potential projects
- Provide creative and administrative support for projects at all stages of development and production as needed
- General office support (when in office)
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience working at a production company, agency, or studio - Proficient in Excel, Google Workspace and Keynote
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize independently
- Working knowledge of the film and television industry
- Interest in non-fiction content and documentary filmmaking
- Bachelor's degree preferred
