Search for Director of Marketing & Creative Development jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Seeking a Full-time Director of Marketing & Creative Development for a fast-paced Music Production and Coordination company based in Los Angeles that handles high end projects for major film and television studios among other high-profile clients.
We take pride in producing and coordinating Hollywood's most ambitious and brilliant music endeavors, while maintaining a strong reputation within our industry and among our clientele. We are looking for a highly motivated and visionary individual to add to our team. We are looking for someone to plant their roots and build alongside our existing team members.
All interviews and work will be remote during the Covid-19 stay-at-home order.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Marketing of the company's creative brand and developing a client roster in the commercial, film, and television industries.
• Reviewing and cataloging highly sensitive and confidential information on a daily basis.
• Maintaining proper client relations that correspond to the culture of the company's brand.
• Supporting team members in endeavors related to the growth of the company.
• Tracking, managing, budgeting, and helping to coordinate production-related projects as needed.
• Additional responsibilities for one-off and special projects as needed.
• Attending official work events on an as-needed basis. [Not applicable during Covid-19 stay-at-home order]
• Occasional regional travel is an essential part of this job. Extended travel or overnight travel may be required infrequently. [Not applicable during Covid-19 stay-at-home order]
Education and Experience:
• Required 7+ years of applicable experience within the entertainment industry.
• Work experience at an entertainment agency, record label, creative agency, management, or production company is highly desired.
• Four-year degree is required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, a team player, and a visionary.
• Must have established relationships in the music and entertainment industry.
• Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, thick skin, and emotional intelligence.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to put in time after hours if needed. This is not a 9-5 job.
• Organizational skills including database maintenance, budgeting, and project tracking.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Drive, Mac and PC computers and other commonly used applications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) a plus.
• Social media savvy a plus.
• Must have excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Must be well-mannered, have a professional demeanor and an excellent attitude.
• Able to work well with co-workers in a boutique, friendly, non-corporate environment.
• Highly team oriented and flexible.
• Dynamic and assertive personality with a friendly and professional demeanor strongly preferred.
Pay Rate:
• Salary and terms to be discussed based on years of experience.
