Digital Ad Sales Executive

Top talent agency is currently seeking a full time digital ad sales exec/'seller' for the LA or NYC office. This person should have a proven track record of ad sales in the digital ecosystem, experience with digital talent/creators, success with RFPs, experience with direct-sold media on YouTube and other top digital platforms, and a strong understanding of how to package digital content for sponsors. This individual ideally has sales experience at an MCN and/or digital network, should be comfortable working with a sales quota, and should be able to hit the ground running with a book of relationships with brands and ad agencies. Helpful if candidate has experience with CMS systems and data/analytics programs.
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Must be a team player and be able to develop strong relationships with buyers
- Strong relationships with advertising agencies and brand reps
- Analyze and provide necessary sales reports, market analysis and identify growth opportunities for digital assets
- Develop all digital sales packages
- Demonstrate knowledge of selling digital products and applications, including; SEO/SEM, mobile, social media, targeted ads
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience and a proven track record of success in selling
- A full understanding of digital metrics, the ability to learn new processes, and the instinct to optimize campaigns and maximize revenue
- A highly organized, self-motivated and assertive individual
- Enjoys being in the field and on sales calls
- A superior communicator with interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Proven at developing digital media campaigns with case studies and recaps
- Comfortable with a strategic selling approach
- Proactive self-learner with the desire to keep up with trends and skills needed to succeed in the digital space
- Conduct continuous research on the latest industry trends, preliminary tests and consumer behavior analysis to develop new ideas for the market to generate further revenue
- Comfortable building decks, sales materials and filling out RFPs
- Proven track record of strong management and leadership ability
- Extensive knowledge of digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, channels of distribution, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting
- Action-oriented, effective communicator with strong leadership and development skills
- Confident personality and strong sense of urgency
- Minimum of 3+ years of sales management and digital media sales experience
- Technically savvy with high understanding and use of digital products to drive client results
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platform ad solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Hard-working, integrity, relationship-builder with a winning attitude
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Some travel is required
