The Creative Director, Branding oversees the creative vision of projects across all media. Creative Director will serve as a leader in the creative department and serve as primary creative contact on some client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides creative leadership/motivation and conveys the vision and values of our Culture to design staff
- Oversees creative execution of all creative projects to insure they are on strategy, on schedule and reflect creative quality
- Understands project budgets and implications of staffing on project profitability
- Leads project critiques providing direction to AD and design team
- Meets weekly with the Chief Creative Officer to ensure all relevant information is shared
- Serve as primary creative contact for certain client relationships
- Develop and assess individual team members' technical skills, professional techniques, training needs and professional growth
- Define project assignments and develop and execute creative solutions
- Provide feedback and direction to Art Directors and Designers
- Understand out-of-house mechanicals to specification required by the client
- Assist the Art Directors to ensure that projects are completed at the excellence standard required
- Mentor, encourage and guide the design department
Requirements and Qualifications (Technical and Non-Technical)
- Minimum 6 years experience (or a portfolio that reflects equivalent experience
- Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Must be able to communicate creative concepts to both internal design team and clients
- Must possess confidence, and enjoy being part of a tight-knit team
- Strong work ethic, dedication to quality, and ability to deliver on a deadline
- Needs to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet unpredictable deadlines
- Needs to be able to give and take constructive criticism
