Business and Legal Affairs department of well-known talent management and production company seeks a Contract Administrator to provide administrative support for four attorneys within the high-volume department. Responsibilities include maintaining department databases (including extensive physical and digital filing systems), tracking various agreement types through all stages of negotiation and paperwork, handling start paperwork and processing timely payments, overseeing the WGA worklist, and providing general departmental support ranging from creating summaries of legal agreements to drafting cover letters. This position will also work as a liaison between the Business & Legal department and the Company's Accounting, Financing, and Creative departments. The right candidate will be highly organized, an exceptional communicator, and a self-motivated multitasker.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a Business and Legal Affairs Department that is actively involved in the production of feature films, scripted and unscripted television, digital/new media, music video, and commercials. Prior Contracts Administrator experience at a Studio or working familiarity with entertainment legal agreements is a plus.
