Awards Submissions Manager
A leading film and television publicity firm is seeking a Submissions Manager to oversee our awards submissions department. We specialize in awards strategy and submissions for major competitions across film and television, and we’re looking for someone who can manage workflow, supervise a small team, and ensure submissions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on deadline.
This is a full-time, remote work-from-home position based in Los Angeles. Core hours are 9am–5pm PT, with extended hours during peak award seasons.
What You’ll Do
• Oversee the full lifecycle of awards submissions for film and television projects
• Supervise and support a team of Submissions Assistants
• Communicate with clients, artisans, and internal publicists to confirm eligibility, categories, credits, and required materials
• Review and approve grids, proofs, trackers, and final submissions
• Maintain and refine our Google Sheets–based tracking systems and submission workflows
• Interpret awards rules and coordinate with awards organizations as needed
• Identify issues early and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
• Serve as the final quality-control check before any submission is completed
We are looking for someone with:
Experience
• A strong background in publicity, awards, agency, production office, or similar entertainment operations roles
• Experience working in detail-heavy, deadline-driven environments
• Comfort interacting with clients, talent, and artisans
• Experience coordinating or overseeing complex workflows or internal teams
Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational instincts and comfort juggling multiple priorities
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and document management
• Ability to review work, catch errors, and uphold high accuracy standards
• Clear, confident professional tone in both written and verbal interactions

Location & Schedule
• Remote, Los Angeles–based
• Standard hours: 9am–5pm PT

• Occasional night and weekend events
