Audio production company seeks an Associate Producer to advance pre-production and production-related tasks for titles in the pipeline. This is a high-growth opportunity for a motivated entrepreneur with production management experience to work full-time on podcasts with high-profile artists, athletes, and celebrities. The person in this role must be physically based in Los Angeles.
What You Will Need
• 2+ years of experience working in television, commercial, or podcast/audio production as a Post Production Assistant or Post Production Coordinator.
• Drive to manage workflow and meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of file management and naming conventions
• Familiarity with platforms such as Frame.io, ProTools, Audition Pro, Logic, MP3 Converters, FileZilla
• Eagerness to learn network deliverables and asset delivery protocols
• A passion for podcasts and a general knowledge of the landscape.
• Experience setting up microphones and running a mixing board a plus.
• Experience with project management tools like Monday.com also a plus.
• Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to interface confidently with talent and leadership.
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and an always can-do attitude.
• Desire and capacity to operate in a face-paced, multifaceted, demanding environment.
What You Will Do
• Day-to-day post-production management.
• Oversee and administer the master post-production calendar with tracking up to 5 shows simultaneously.
• Manage the delivery process, and act as departmental expert on delivery protocols for various platforms.
• Tracking edits on all podcast properties and calling out edits for feedback on a daily basis.
• Run point on all post-production related tasks.
• Creating templates for recurring tasks.
