Audio production company seeks an Associate Producer to advance pre-production and production-related tasks for titles in the pipeline. This is a high-growth opportunity for a motivated entrepreneur with production management experience to work full-time on podcasts with high-profile artists, athletes, and celebrities. The person in this role must be physically based in Los Angeles.
What You Will Need
• 4+ years of experience working in television, commercial, or podcast/audio production.
• An understanding of the production process from start to finish including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, casting, contracting talent, booking crew, booking studios, tracking weekly payroll, day of production logistics, as well as file management and asset delivery to post production
• Familiarity with platforms like Frame.io, ProTools, Audition Pro, Logic are a plus
• Drive to manage workflow and meet deadlines.
• A passion for podcasts and a general knowledge of the landscape.
• Experience setting up microphones and running a mixing board a plus.
• Experience with project management tools like Monday.com also a plus.
• Ability to network and bring in new projects encouraged.
• Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to interface confidently with talent.
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and an always can-do attitude.
• Desire and capacity to operate in a face-paced, multifaceted, demanding environment.
What You Will Do
• Day-to-day production management for up to 3 podcasts running simultaneously.
• Oversee and administer the casting process, including booking, scheduling, and communicating with all talent.
• Schedule and project manage production and kickoff meetings.
• Assist with developing story and interview ideas, as well as editorial vision when needed.
• Run point on all production related tasks, including being present and helping to set up on the day of recording.
• Creating templates for recurring tasks.
