Start up entertainment public relations firm is seeking a highly motivated and detailed oriented public relations assistant, who can continuously stay one step ahead of busy owner. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, maintain the highest level of confidentiality, have the ability to keep up with a busy, fast-paced office, and remain composed in under pressure environments. Must be able to multi-task under deadlines.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
-Maintaining Calendar for CEO
-Answering phone and rolling calls
-Compose comprehensive client memos
-Book hair and make-up for clients
-Stay up to date with client's event and press coverage
-Maintain electronic press kits and overall press clippings
-Will accompany publicist to events, press opportunities and photo shoots
-Attend events, junket, photos shoots in support of client for experience and training Requirements: -BA in Mass Communications, Public Relations or related field
-MUST HAVE at least experience 1 YEAR in entertainment public relations
-Strong writing, research and organizational skills
-Self-starter, able to work independently
-Strong ability to prioritize, solve problems and be resourceful
-Can handle fast-paced environment
-Ability to work well under pressure and take direction
-Must have strong attention to detail and able to handle any/all confidential information
-Vehicle is required
-20-30 hours a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
