This position deals with development, production, post, marketing and distribution on films, tv, documentary and short form.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, flexible, and have a good overview of the production process.
Tasks may include writing coverage on scripts, drafting letters, rolling phone calls, running an office, scheduling, interviewing personnel, coordinating meetings, assisting with duties on and off set, liaising between the producer and the production team, and helping to prepare materials. Additionally they may also be asked to help with copyright and rights management, arranging events, and managing money.
This position also involves personal tasks such as reconciling credit cards, dealing with a small amount of house tasks, buying gifts etc.
This position is 80% professional tasks, 20% personal tasks.
The ideal candidate will be an incredible problem solver with a ''no job is impossible attitude.''
Producer is currently shooting a film overseas and candidate should be open to traveling internationally during production.
