Prominent boutique entertainment law firm seeks full-time assistant office manager.
Must possess excellent communication and computer skills [PC], sound judgment, loads of common sense and a strong phone manner. Must also be well organized and a fast learner who can multi-task and handle a fast paced environment. Excellent opportunity for the right person. Must have minimum 2 years office or entertainment industry administrative experience.
The ideal candidate would have some accounting or bookkeeping experience, advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) printer setup and, software installation and an overall comfort learning new programs and other PC skills.
Duties include assisting the Office Manager with all day to day matters of office maintenance:
Supply inventory/tracking and ordering
Handling communications and issues with building management
Setting up and troubleshooting video conference meetings
General computer setup tasks
Phone setup and programming and training
Preparing start paperwork for new employees
Tracking and entering calendar, reminders and deadlines for office manager
