Busy New York television production company is looking for a qualified and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant for the Business & Legal Affairs Department (including Rights & Clearances).
In this role, the person will perform a high volume of administrative and legal duties, including:
• Phone duties and other correspondence
• Scheduling meetings and conference calls
• Updating and maintaining status reports
• Filing and organizing a variety of agreements and other documents
• Communicating regularly with outside legal counsel as well as internal and external executives
• Contract management
• Assuring agreements are fully executed and deadlines and deliverable requirements are met
• Assisting with specials projects
• Other duties as required.
Basic qualifications include:
• Minimum of two (2) years administrative support experience within entertainment and/or entertainment legal and/or rights & clearances
• Willing to work extended hours
• Must be proactive and work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree
