Notable music management company seeks a Coordinator/Day-to-Day Manager in Los Angeles. You will be working alongside a senior manager and marketing manager across manager's clients and client teams.
Responsibilities include:
-Maintaining manager's calendar and daily schedule
-Maintaining artist calendars and daily schedules
-Booking and coordinating travel itineraries
-Communicating with and delivering needs to client teams (labels, booking agents, marketing team, etc)
-Creating and maintaining tour budgets
-Touring band/crew hiring and communication
-Assist with coordinating advancing shows and tours
-Assist with client ecommerce solutions and merchandise inventory
-Assisting marketing manager with developing, strategizing, and managing content for all client's socials
-Assisting marketing manager to develop and execute all client marketing plans
-Assisting managers and clients with any required administrative duties
-A&R: researching and scouting new music
-Following trends in music and culture, emerging technologies, social media, etc
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
-1-2 years experience as an Executive Assistant, Coordinator or Day-to-Day Manager at an artist management company (preferred)
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of tasks successfully
-Ability to deal with high-pressure situations calmly
-Positive professionalism with high-profile personalities
-Self-starter, detail-oriented, and driven with the ability to take initiative and anticipate manager's and client's needs
-Ability to work in an open, fast-paced environment
-Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
-Ability to work weekends and evenings, if/when needed
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Social Media and Mailchimp
-Basic knowledge of photoshop and web coding a plus, but not required
-The ability to think critically and recognize opportunities is key
