Accountant

This is a Part Time Job

Long-time film production and sales company is looking for an in-house accountant.

• Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly P&L and balance sheets for various companies that are part of/affiliated with the parent company.
• Take charge of invoicing and collections.
• Handle all aspects of accounts payable cycle.
• Must be familiar with and able to handle multiple entities and track annual filings.
• Conduct a heavy volume of outgoing wire transfers.
• Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and multiple currencies in Quickbooks Online.
• Manage the use and expense reporting of various corporate credit cards, including weekly reconciliation of credit card charges.
• Responsible for all tax form compliance, issuing 1099's, VAT filings, residency certificates for various countries and filing the 8802 application forms.
• Support external CPA firm on year-end closes, including general ledger analysis and tax preparation.
• Responsible for setting up new companies and incorporating them with various state/federal bodies along with setting up new bank accounts.
• Various other ad hoc finance projects as needed.

This is an in-office position - no hybrid or working remotely.
Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience; previous employment with film sales / production is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is required, FilmTrack is preferred.
