Talent Payment Coordinator- Talent Agency, Los Angeles, CA
Established Talent Agency is seeking a talent payment coordinator to join our Business Affairs department.
This is an entry-level role with great opportunity for advancement and growth within the department. Must be committed and looking for long term home.
Responsibilities include:
-- Processing talent payments for clients
-- Preparing invoices as needed
--Interacting with clients and producers
--Solving payment issues and problems
--Learning commercial contract codes
--Working on various projects that aid in the overall operations of the agency
Must be able to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
Experience with accounting/business affairs for an entertainment company (studio, agency, union, production company, etc.) strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
AA or BA in Accounting or Finance (a plus but not required), or 2 years equivalent experience
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and 10 key
Comfortable screening calls
Multi-tasking & prioritizing urgent issues effectively
Hours: M-F, 9:30AM-6:30PM.
$18-$19 hourly + DOE + Benefits
