Full Time Job
Our client, a global entertainment company is eager to add an SVP of Sponsorship Sales to lead the current team and drive new client acquisition. The ideal candidate is an experienced business development leader with the ability to attain and exceed revenue goals in a very competitive and high-growth space. The SVP will have a player/coach mentality and focus on new client development by identifying and analyzing key accounts for aggressive prospecting and dramatic growth. You will be responsible for developing personal relationships with senior-level representatives of Key Clients and creating pitches leveraging all available team capabilities and resources such as Product, Content, Client Services, and Marketing.
Should have:
• Bachelors Degree is required, MBA preferred
• 10-15 years of experience in an executive level sales role, prospecting and fostering accounts via consultative selling for an Entertainment-related organization
• Contacts within marketing organizations of major brands as well as with the agencies that service them
• Proven record of meeting and exceeding sponsorship sales targets in an executive capacity
• Strong creative sales strategy background and demonstrated capability of self-direction, motivation, and leadership
