Sucherman Group (SG) is a boutique management consulting and executive recruiting firm specializing in media, entertainment, and digital. With offices in Los Angeles and New York, our clients include some of the biggest brand names in our industry.
Position Summary:
The Los Angeles office is looking for an entry-level Executive Assistant/Coordinator to join our search team. The role directly supports the Managing Director of Executive Search and works closely with the search team at-large. This individual will coordinate projects relating to existing clients, new clients, and new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
•Administratively support the Managing Director (calendar/scheduling, travel, phones, email/phone correspondence)
•Light office management, including reception, mail, and stocking of kitchen and office supplies
•Heavy data entry and database upkeep
•Assist Senior Consultants in coordinating all administrative tasks related to ongoing searches and research projects
•Use trade publications and online resources to gather information as required
•Liaise with high-level clients and candidates to schedule meetings and interviews
Key Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree
•At least one year full-time work experience, preferably gained in the executive search/media/entertainment/broadcast news industry
•Must be comfortable with clerical tasks (e.g. reception, phones, data entry, etc.)
•Ability to conduct detailed research projects on broad subjects and assimilate complex information into a usable and communicable format
•Extremely organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and juggle multiple projects
•Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
•Polished presentation and confidence to interface with senior executives and respect confidentiality at all times
•Flexible, calm under pressure, energetic, and engaged
•Forward-thinking and proactive, with the ability to take the initiative to ensure things don't fall through the cracks
•Internet savvy and technologically astute
•Adept in the use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with experience of creating client presentations and documents to a high standard
•Passion for the media and entertainment industry and willingness to learn
•Knowledge of Encore recruiting software a plus, but not required
