Description:
We are seeking a Controller for our client an Entertainment Prop House.
Duties included, but are not limited to:
-Full Cycle Accounting
-A/P and A/R review and approval
-Professional and effective communication with clients and all levels of company
-Set up systems and procedures
-Prepare budgets with cash projections, financial reports and supplemental schedules
-Answer client billing questions
-Work with clients to resolve account payment issues and set up payment plans as needed
-Individual & Corporate tax projections
-Review insurance certificates
-Work with sales team to ensure invoices and payments are received and processed in a timely manner
-Assist with day-to-day operations
-Oversee Human Resources
-Ensure company mission and values are understood and maintained
-Review and understand various contracts and create summaries
-Review real estate transactions
-Interaction and effective communication with banks
-Special projects as needed
Skills and Requirements:
-MUST HAVE a minimum of 5+ years Accounting experience
-Minimum of 5+ years GAAP
-Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting
-CPA is preferred
-Knowledge of the entertainment industry
-PC/MAC MS Office; MS Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks
-Tech-savvy
-Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and change priorities as needed to make deadlines
-Excellent time management skills and excellent attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
