Comedy Central is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Manager to join the Multi-Platform Analytics team. This role is primarily responsible for analyzing Comedy Central’s digital and social performance, along with linear, social, radio, and all other places where we engage with our fans. Reporting into the Vice President of Multi-Platform Analytics on the Strategic Insights and Research team, the position requires a deep understanding of digital and social analyses and reporting, and a passion for the media landscape and industry. Through the use of various research techniques, this person will provide insights and recommendations to various departments across the organization, contributing to the goals and success of the brand.
Responsibilities:
• Provide detailed analyses, reports, and presentations on digital and social performance to provide insights and strategic recommendations
• Analyze and explain the relationship/impact between viewing platforms such as desktop/mobile/app streaming, linear, SVOD, and other emerging platforms.
• Work hand-in-hand with various departments, including Programming, Social Media Strategy, and Multi-Platform Strategy, to maximize multi-platform and linear performance.
• Deliver actionable insights on consumption trends, performance, the competitive landscape, and audience behavior to inform strategies.
• Create thoughtful and innovative research solutions based on the stakeholder’s objectives/requirements.
Basic Qualifications
• 3-5 years of related research experience with demonstrated success
• Experience with internal and 3rd party digital measuring solutions (Omniture SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, comScore, etc.)
• Experience working with social media monitoring tools (Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, Youtube Analytics, Listenfirst, etc), social media management tools (Sprinklr, DOMO), and social listening tools (Crimson Hexagon)
• Experience with Nielsen TV data and Rentrak VOD a plus
• Bachelor degree or higher

• Passion for the media industry and emerging technology
• Experience with leading and developing a team
• Able to turn complex/intricate analyses into clear, easy-to-understand “story-telling” presentations
• Ability to spearhead a project and thoroughly manage it through to completion
