Full Time Job
This position supports two senior vice presidents, including the head of the Communications team, along with overall departmental support. The position maintains a variety of administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to:
• Provide administrative support to department head and senior vice president.
• Provide overall support to Communications team as necessary, including, but not limited to: distribution of press releases and announcements; production of press digest and coverage reports; maintain and update contact database; schedule meetings, video and phone conference calls, dial-ins; coordination of talent travel arrangements.
• Produce and maintain Comedy Central's press website.
• Process vendor invoices, department expenses, charitable donations and track payments.
• Liaise with outside agencies to book hair, make-up and stylists for talent press appearances; confirm best rates negotiated and follow through to ensure negotiated rates are the final invoiced rates.
• Coordinate awards submissions and manage related expenses (Emmys, Peabodys, etc.).
• Support Communications team in arrangement of media junkets, tours, events, etc.
• Maintain and circulate calendar of upcoming press breaks and talent appearances.
• Train and oversee department’s interns.
• Order supplies for department.
Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years of administrative experience.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize and be flexible to shifting priorities/deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in entertainment industry.
• Self-motivated, self-starter.
• Proficiency with HTML a plus.
• Proficiency with SAP software a plus.
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends for screenings, events, press junkets, etc.
