Full Time Job
Comedy Central is seeking a Social Programming & Optimization Coordinator to join the team. You will be responsible for programming, strategy and optimization of the Comedy Central YouTube Channel and additional spin-off channels. The Coordinator will suggest new ways to increase views and watch-time across social, with a focus on YouTube. As well as work closely with the paid media team to lead delivery of ongoing advertising.
Responsibilities:
• You will program and publish YouTube content for CC and spin-off channels (including all linear franchises, integrated marketing, original content, special projects, content creators/influencers, enterprises and more)
• You will work closely with the Optimization Manager to build data-driven digital programming plans
• You will attend meetings and work with internal teams to craft programming calendars based on priorities
• You will handle YouTube optimization and performance analysis including titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails and posting frequency
• You will communicate with Research teams to prepare reports
• In this role you will collaborate with the paid media team to assist with ongoing campaigns
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year of community management experience
• Passionate about comedy/pop culture/entertainment
Additional Qualifications
• Familiarity with the YouTube platform, including analytics; ideally having prior experience leading a YouTube channel
• Experience with SRM tools such as Sprinklr, Adobe Social, Expion, or Percolate is ideal but not required
• Real passion for social platforms and user behavior
• Exceeds in quality control
