The Comedy Central, Paramount Network, & TV Land Multiplatform Content Strategy team is responsible for the strategy and scheduling of content across a variety of non-linear platforms. These include owned & operated sites and apps, as well as third party partner platforms such as Video on Demand (VOD), Subscription and Ad-Supported Video on Demand (SVOD & AVOD), and Download to Own (DTO).
You will report to the Manager, Multiplatform Content Strategy – Comedy Central, with opportunities to assist the Manager, Multiplatform Content Strategy – Paramount Network & TV Land as needed.
Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for metadata entry, category maintenance, and work order creation for DTO, VOD, and SVOD
• You will be responsible for scheduling full episodes and clips for DTO and SVOD and handle day-to-day multiplatform scheduling operations for these platforms
• You will coordinate short-form content delivery with Viacom Digital Studios and external partners
• You will manage Editorial and Design requests for all platforms
• You will partner with Media Planning to ensure promotion across VOD is consistent with linear strategy
• You will interact closely with various departments, including Global Content Operations, Brand Creative, and Ad Sales
• QC all assets prior to delivery
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years experience in entertainment/television (strong internship experience considered); content strategy experience preferred
• Experience with content management systems
Additional Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Passion for TV, the non-linear landscape, and content strategy; knowledge of and interest in Comedy Central programming preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Proven ability to multi-task/prioritize and to work independently as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Photoshop a plus
