Part-Time Ticket Seller, Ticket Operations
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Seasonal Staff in the Ticket Office during both game days and non-game days (some will be day-of-game only)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Sell tickets at the windows in a quick and efficient manner for future games and day of game
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• Provide external fan services (outside the building: iPad sales, line management, etc.)
• Distribute will call tickets
• Resolve fan issues – Fan Accommodation / Customer Service areas
• Properly balance and package sales batch and deposit
• Exchange season tickets, accessible seating, and rescheduled games (if necessary)
• Help answer phones when needed
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous ticketing experience is helpful, though not required
• Prior sales and/or customer service experience, as well as cash handling experience is preferred
• Proficiency using computers is essential
• Familiarity with ticketing software is helpful, but not required
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work evenings and weekends is required
• Required to work the 90-point minimum for the season (roughly 30 games)
• Must be friendly, enjoy working with the public and convey a professional image and demeanor
• Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment
WORK SCHEDULE:
GAME DAY HOURS
Monday through Sunday when games are scheduled.
• The shift begins at Report Time (defined as two hours and 30 minutes before game time) and lasts until:
o Early off (when the manager on duty determines that the majority of the walk-up crowd have been served – usually between 1 -1 ½ hours into the game),
o Mid (when all the Late people have taken and returned from their breaks – usually 2 hours into the game) or
o Late (when the Ticket Office closes at the end of the 7th inning)
REGULAR (NON-GAME) HOURS
Includes all hours of business that are not considered game hours, including the open hours before Report Time on days with games as well as all non-game days.
When regular season individual game tickets are on sale, regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
