Full Time Paid Internship
The Job
The tasks could include, but are not limited to:
• Gaining insight into the editorial process while interning.
• Strengthening research skills while contributing to the digital content the teams produce.
• Participate in meetings, study trends in traffic and pay attention to digital trends in the travel and style spaces.
• Learning how to build posts in the CNN CMS, caption photos, create containers and organize content in the back end.
• Opportunities to write stories based on reporting and research. Interns will also conduct basic fact-checking and photo sourcing.
The Essentials
• Candidates should be passionate about travel and demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning more about CNN Style's coverage.
• Candidates must be excited about digital journalism, self-motivated, able to multitask, have a good attitude, and can function well in a fast-paced, high- volume environment.
• Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
