Full Time Paid Internship
The Team
The investigative team of CNN produces investigative pieces in partnership with various CNN shows including Anderson Cooper 360.
They provide in-depth reporting on current affairs and investigative topics by utilizing strong production values combined with long-form storytelling.
The Job
Interns have the opportunity to participate in every aspect of television production: from pitching story ideas, to setting up shoots, gathering editorial and video materials from the script writing process through edit.
The Daily
• Interns shadow and assist editorial staff.
• Basic duties include: gathering and dubbing video, transcribing tape, organizing visual elements, basic story research and fact-checking.
• Interns will also have the opportunity to attend local shoots and assist edit staff with package producing.

• Candidates should be passionate about news and investigative reporting, self-motivated, able to multitask, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in fast paced, high volume environment.

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
