HLN Morning Express with Robin Meade HLN Morning Express with Robin Meade is comprised of a team of dedicated journalists, committed to giving viewers the latest news, weather, sports, consumer, and entertainment stories from around the globe in a fast-paced, and engaging manner.
The Job
• Intern
• Research and pitch story ideas for broadcast and digital.
• Write and edit news stories for broadcast and digital.
• Train and work with associate producers, line producers, segment producers, copy editors, writers and social media producers.
The Essentials
• Intern candidates should have general working knowledge of a television newsroom and be familiar with the company's digital and social media platforms, as well as those specific to HLN Morning Express.
• Interns should have completed basic journalism writing and media classes and be familiar with the most up to date editing tools.
• Most importantly, candidates should have a passion for the industry and a desire to acquire knowledge to further their goals in the business.

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
