OVERVIEW
The Awards and Brand Marketing Coordinator will directly assist CNN's Director of Corporate Affairs & Brand Marketing for CNN Worldwide.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AWARDS – CNN is an award-winning company; individual will be directly involved in elevating the prestige and excellence of the CNN brand. He/she will help manage award submissions for all of CNN's brands and entities across the company (upload and submit award materials online, copy edit and write essays, maintain and update award databases, manage budget, assist with award related events, and be comfortable with project management).
PHILANTHROPY & CHARITABLE DONATIONS – CNN is a proud supporter of various nonprofits and journalism institutions. He/she will help manage charitable donations (processing, tracking, communications, delivering sponsorship materials)
BRAND MARKETING – CNN is one of the most recognizable and iconic brands. He/she will help maintain the look and feel of CNN branding in bureaus; assist with staff photography; and help manage CNN Store merchandise.
